In the OB23 update, Garena announced the addition of the second awakened character in Free Fire. Players can unlock him by completing the Awakening missions. The name of Hayato’s ability is Bushido, and at the base level, it increases the armor penetration by 7.5% with a 10% reduction in maximum HP.
With the increase in level, the ability of the character enhances. He is the ‘Awakened’ or upgraded version of Hayato. And also with an active ability called the Art of Blades.
At the maximum level, the armor penetration will increase by 10% when there is a 10% decrease in the maximum HP. There are also two character sets that players can avail – The Blazing Wolf and Fist of Flame.
This ability reduces frontal damage by 20% for 3 seconds and has a cool down of 50 seconds. However, this version must be obtained as it isn’t unlocked with Hayato’s default character.
K (Captain Booyah)
He is also one of the most powerful characters in the realm of Free Fire. As per his in-game description, K is a professor and a jiu-jitsu expert having an active ability called Master of All. In the Jiu-Jitsu mode, his allies within a 6m radius get a 500% increment in the EP conversion rate.
Also, in the psychology mode, K’s ability allows him to recover 2 EP every three seconds up to 100 EP. However, the mode switch cool down takes around 20 seconds. K can be maximized up to level 6 by using character level-up cards. At his highest potential, he can recover 2 EP in every two seconds and up to 150 EP in the psychology mode.
Comparing the abilities
Both characters have incredible abilities in Garena Free Fire. The choice between them depends upon the players. If they prefer having an increased EP, then K is a better option. In contrast, if they want to have increased armor penetration, Hayato will be the go-to character.
