Actor Alexx Ekubo’s relationship with his ex-fiance, Fancy Acholonu, appears to be getting messier by the day as his sister, Ifeoma, has also come to his defense.
Ifeoma Ekubo clarified the situation regarding the shenanigans between the estranged couple in an online interview with Obodo Oyibo.

Regarding the sexual orientation of Alexx Ekubo, Ifeoma dispelled rumours that her brother is gay and criticized Fancy for encouraging such talks.
Ifeoma insisted that Fancy spread untrue rumours about her brother and that he wasn’t gay. According to Ifeoma, the two had sex in January, so the ‘gay’ reports are untrue.

Alexx Ekubo and Fancy Acholonu got engaged in May 2021 after dating for 5 years. Their engagement, however, did not last long as Acholonu abruptly called off their already-planned wedding in August of the same year.
The model shocked many on Friday, December 29th, when she publicly apologised to Alexx Ekubo via Instagram, stating that her heart still belongs to him.
Alexx Ekubo responded to the apology with the following comment: “I appreciate the apology. May God bless us all.”
Rumours of a possible reconciliation began to circulate before Fancy shut it down. In an unexpected turn of events, the US model claimed Alex deceived her into apologizing publicly and then blocked her.
On Monday, January 2nd, Acholonu took to Instagram to declare that she is “free” and that “the chain is broken.”
