13 Giant Purple Toad

Pacific and distant relative of the annoying hostile beats that plague the marshes and swamps, the Dugbogs, the Giant Purple Toad is the perfect match for the darkish biomes of your Vivarium. It will grant you Toad Warts, which are an important part of the ingredients needed to upgrade your gear at the Enchanted Loom. 12 Kneazle
Kneazles are very popular pets in the wizarding world, and many families have one in their houses. The kneazle resembles a cat but has a lion's tail and a pair of very big ears. The most popular descendant of such species is Crookshanks, Hermione Granger's pet, which like every kneazle, can detect suspicious people.

Crookshanks in the movies was aggressive towards Scabbers, the unsuspected Animagus version of Peter Pettigrew. It will grant you Kneazle Fur and can be found in Clagmar Coast, South Sea Bog, and Marunweem Lake.
11 Puffskein
The Puffskein is a fluffy and cute furball that is good at hiding its dangerous tongue that can be painful when it hits you in the eye. A Puffskein named Gerald is the first magical beast you will encounter in the game during Professor Howin's beast class. This activity will introduce you to beast taming, and you will have to brush and feed Gerald, ensuring its eternal attachment. It will grant you Puffskein fur and is a pretty common beast since it can be found in the Forbidden Forest near Jackdow's Tomb, in the Hogsmeade Valley, and along the coasts.
10 Fwooper
The Fwooper is a Lovecraftian creature hidden beneath a fluffy feathered cute-looking bird. It is not innocent as it seems since its high-pitched singing can let people descend into madness in no time. Because of that, a Fwooper is a very dangerous beast, and in the Harry Potter universe, the owners should have a license and a silencing charm.

While Fwooper feathers were used to create quills, in Hogwarts Legacy, you can use them to upgrade your gear and craft new traits. This magical beast's dens are located in the Feldcroft Region, along the Clagmar Coast, and on the Poidsear Coast.
9 Diricawl
The Diricawl is a magical bird that tricked the Muggles into believing in its extinction. Normally known as Dodo, the Diricawl can't fly but is capable of disappearing and reappearing, in the way that people do with Portkeys, the Floo Flames, or with spells. Even if they are shifty and elusive, you will make acquaintance with such a magical beast during Professor Howin's first assignment. It grants Diricawl feathers, and more Diricawls can be found in the southern part of the Poidsear Coast, near the Marunweem Lake, or in the northern part of the Clagmar Coast.
8 Jobberknoll
At the halfway stage of this magical beast list, you will find a fascinating bird that couldn't be extremely dazzling in its design but surely is in its unique characteristic and behavior. It remains silent for its entire lifespan and, in the very moment of its death, condensates every sound it heard during its existence and then emits a shout that plays each of these sounds backward.

It will grant you Jobberknoll feathers, and its dens can be found in the Cragcroftshire, in the Feldcroft Region, and in the center of the North Ford Bog.
7 Niffler
The Niffler is the magical counterpart of our platypus and is one of the most iconic beasts of the Harry Potter universe and is present both in the main series and in the Fantastic Beast spinoff. It has fluffy fur and a duck-like snout and is fascinated and strongly drawn to shiny objects. For this reason, Nifflers were kept by goblins to find precious treasures. They grant Niffler Fur and can be found in the southern part of the Feldcroft Region, in the northern part of the Poidsear Coast, and in the Cragcroftshire.

During the questline of Poppy Sweeting— your Hufflepuff companion and friend — after you place the moonstone in the monolith, you will have the chance to watch this performance. A tamed Mooncalf can grant you its fur and can be found in the Forbidden Forest and on the Podsear Coast.
5 Unicorn
The Unicorn is the most iconic magical beast of several fictional fantasy universes and is here to welcome you in the top five of this standing. The Unicorn is the protagonist of a shocking moment in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone in which Voldemort drinks its blood. 3 Graphorn
The Graphorn is a majestic and highly dangerous magical beast with two golden horns and a Cthulhu-like face full of tentacles. Known in-game as The Lord Of The Shore, a single Graphorn can be obtained only during the Fourth Keeper Trial and after defeating it in an honorable fight. You will not only be able to get its precious horn to upgrade your gear to the highest level, but the Graphorn will also serve you as a gargantuan mount that can annihilate every obstacle and enemy that cross your path.
2 Hippogriff
When you say the word Hippogriff, you instantly link it to Buckbeak, Harry Potter's beloved animal companion and mount. Although an icon among the creatures of the Harry Potter world, the Hippogriff has to settle for second place on this list. In Hogwarts Legacy, you will make acquaintance with Highwing, an elegant and respectable Hippogriff, during the first beast class.
