On May 31st, the new DLC pack for Total War: Warhammer II titled The Queen and the Crone will be released with a free download of The Shadow King Alith Anar. The voice of Alith Anar will be familiar, as actor Dylan Sprouse has taken on the role. To highlight this, Total War released a behind-the-scenes video with Sprouse discussing his voice-work on the DLC and his love of Total War.
In the video, Sprouse emphasizes his excitement for the role by saying, “Out of all of the high elves, actually Alith Anar has always been my favorite high elf.” He also shared the video on his Twitter.

And don’t go thinking this some throwaway actor cameo. Dylan Sprouse is a huge fan of the series — at least, if his Reddit profile is any indication.
Alith Anar is the last of the noble line of House Anar and Prince of Nagarythe and returns to take on the hated Druchii in the Eye of the Vortex and Mortal Empires campaigns. As a new High Elf Legendary Lord, his stealth-based gameplay style allows for him to move across the gameplay map without triggering interception, mislead enemies by conjuring an identical copy of himself as he recedes into the shadows, and allows him to recruit his own dedicated unit of Shadow Walkers.
