A Nigerian man has stirred reactions online after insisting his girlfriend pay after she ate N12,000 worth of food on their date.
In the viral video, the man gets into his car and is about to drive away when he and the lady get into a heated argument.

The lady was heard claiming that under normal conditions, she would be able to pay, but her phone was out of service.
The man mocked her, telling her not to claim what she isn’t and told her she’d stay in the establishment for hours if she doesn’t pay.

Some staff could be seen standing behind them, waiting for them to make a payment decision.
Reacting to the video Netizens slammed the man for embarrassing his girlfriend in public over N12k meal.

The 12k you are talking about is the price of “platter for one ” in some restaurants. That 12k is the price of the cheapest plate of food in some restaurants so what would she have ordered? Did you tell her u couldn’t afford it ?
Men stop stressing yourself! Never go to a restaurant that you can’t afford. Chicken republic, KFC, mega chicken, Kilimanjaro, THE PLACE are all there for a reason. Order your 5k meal and go home.
The lady also wasted her time following him outside.
Women always check the cash you have or ur account before ordering a meal , make sure you order what you can pay for incase the so called man start misbehaving. The lady should have paid it immediately the guy started misbehaving and just leave there.
