Got long, relatively straight hair you want to put up for your wedding day (or for bridesmaid duty)? Here's the how-to for a soft, wavy side chignon.
This idea comes to us from Naeemah Carre, bridal specialist at Blow, The New York Blow Dry Bar.

Start by curling the hair with a 1-inch curling iron. Spray each section before you curl it. Curl the sides away from face and the top sections back, pinning each ringlet to your scalp as you go. Let these pincurls cool.
Tease the hair at the crown and on the side where you'll wear your chignon. "This creates not only volume but a base for your chignon so that your pins have something to hold onto, ensuring that your style lasts all night," Naeemah notes.
