Dallas Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium set to receive a fresh $180,000,000 upgrades ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup

AT&T Stadium is set to undergo some major renovations as it prepares to host several major tournaments. Since its grand opening in 2009, the Dallas Cowboys stadium has become a trendsetter in terms of stadium architecture.

The so-called “House That Jerry Built,” a nod to Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, will see some changes to its interior. As per documents filed with the state regulators, the renovation will primarily focus on the premium suits and clubs in the stadium.

Work on the project will commence in January, with an estimated completion date of July 2025. The funds allocated for the renovation are reportedly around $180 million, which is part of the $295 million that the NFL owners approved for stadium improvements last year.

As per sources, Jerry Jones is aiming to bring soccer World Cup fever to Texas. After FIFA declared that the USA would be the organizing country for the 2026 World Cup, several stadium owners desired to bring an international audience to their stadiums. AT&T will hold a couple of games, but the local government is also pushing for the final.

Recently, the local crowd saw the Dallas Cowboys decimate the Las Vegas Raiders on Saturday. Quarterback Dak Prescott donned headphones and assumed the role of their offensive coordinator with great success. It will welcome the New York Giants in Week 1 of the NFL regular season.
