CHARLOTTE — Ally Financial is gassing up its ties to the motorsports industry with the addition of racing icon Dale Earnhardt Jr. to its partner roster. The company says in a press release that the partnership will involve a regular spot on Earnhardt’s podcast as well as a paint-scheme design for driver Alex Bowman’s No. 48 Chevy Camaro in the upcoming Ally 400.
That race, part of NASCAR’s top-tier Cup Series, is set for June 26 at Nashville Superspeedway in Tennessee. The partnership with Earnhardt is intended to “amplify the fan experience” ahead of the event.
