There's 1 major reason I drive from Newcastle to Edinburgh to Scott Gourlays place, you can add Wayman to this too.
Yes, there are facilities locally
Yes, there are local pros that can fit
But I guarantee, none of them have the knowledge Scott has when it comes to custom fitting and shafts
Trackman , anybody that's used, will tell you it's the best unit
Biggest range of heads and shafts you will see anywhere
From mainstream, to the very exotic
His knowledge of shafts and their characteristics is top notch
There's a local guy ( mentioned here ) that builds clubs ( self taught )
In the year I bought my 1st set of irons from Scott
This same guy was selling cars.......
