Carolina Herrera has been making women like Jackie Kennedy Onassis and Renee Zellweger look stunning for close to 30 years, so I'd say it's wise to listen up when she gives out style advice. Her latest? Orange is the new red.
Resort presentations are in full swing (that's the funny season between fall and spring also known as "pre-spring." It's called resort because back in the day, fancy schmancy women filled their trunks with these clothes and escaped to someplace fabulous for the winter...) and when Carolina Herrera held her runway show last week, she showed a couple of beautiful bright orange floor-length frocks. And after the models had strutted their stuff, Herrera told a few fashion journalists, including Glamour's own Editor-in-Chief, Cindi Leive, that orange is the new alternative to red.
