I like a bridal shower activity as much as the next guest—sitting around eating tea sandwiches can get boring—but I never liked the toilet-paper-wedding-dress game, which was always wildly popular in my shower-attending heyday*. It's just not my scene.
But here's a bridal shower activity I can totally get behind:

Give the shower guests a card (these are from Wedding Paper Divas) and have them write down their best advice for marriage or relationships, whether it's something they learned in their own marriage or something their parents' marriage instilled in them. The advice can be read aloud if you need a time-killer—or not—but either way, the cards make a cute keepsake for the bride

*The same brides who loved TP wedding dresses would later go on to have the melted-chocolate-in-the-diaper game at their baby showers. Not OK with me, either.
