Dr. Vegapunk’s look matches that of Albert Einstein. old, ragged face with white hair and a big mustache. He talks with his tongue out. It is a major throwback to one of Einstein’s most famous photographs.

Eiichiro Oda’s Real Life One Piece Counterparts

As mentioned above, Eiichiro Oda has a habit of designing his characters for real people. But it is not just looks; he also includes a few of the characteristics too. For example, Blackbeard was an infamous pirate during the 18th century. Oda got inspired and created Marshall D. Teach. He even gave One Piece’s counterpart the pirate hat and Blackbeard-style beard.

On the other hand, Olivier Levasseur, another pirate, is said to have hidden the world’s greatest treasure, valued at $1 billion. Gol D. Roger was based on this person. But there are a few aspects that Oda adds to maintain his creativity. Dr. Vegapunk has divided himself into seven counterparts. One of them is Stella, and the other six match each one of his personalities.

Manga readers, more or less, know about Dr. Vegapunk. Anime watchers are to be introduced to him. After years of speculation, he will finally make his debut on episode 1085 of the One Piece anime. One Piece can be streamed on Crunchyroll.
