As Olga Kurylenko ("Vera Evans") tells it, "We are actually all friends, and we go out to eat all the time together in Miami." And what are some of those hot spots? Co-star Kelly Lynch ("Meg Bannock") adds, "I love the Standard, the Soho house, the Fontainebleu, and the Eden Roc." And yes, fans do come up to them all the time while they're out and about!
5) Kelly Lynch (Meg Bannock) is sleeping with her boss!
But it's OK, they're married to each other! Lynch and husband (creator/EP) Mitch Glazer, have been married for over 20 years now, but Lynch jokes that she had to "sleep with him to get the job, so I don't know what I have to do to get secrets out of him for upcoming episodes! I know he already has amazing things planned for season three, but he's not telling me what those are!"
Bonus: Julianne Hough and brother Derek Hough (Boy, I've missed seeing him and Kellie Pickler every week backstage at Dancing with the Stars!), came out to support the STARZ network, since Julianne is a big fan of Magic City. "The style is so beautiful and the fashion. The moment in time that it was is just really sexy. I just love it," Julianne told me.
Meanwhile, the star siblings are in the process of developing their own show for STARZ, based on the black swan version of ballroom dancing. Julianne describes it as "the fun world that we grew up in...the truthfulness of that world, the quirkiness of it, but then the nitty-gritty stuff too." Derek adds, "It's not a dancing show, but a very character-driven show." This I can't wait to see.
