Own at least one black top that has a touch of attitude: Trust, you'll get more wear out of it than you'd ever expect. At the Teen Choice Awards, Collins could have teamed her Fausto Puglisi skirt with a plain black T-shirt and her outfit would have been ok. Instead, she went with a Houghton shirt that had a bit of pizzaz courtesy of it's strong shoulders, proving a little outfit tweak can go a long way.
Sometimes it's ok to go matchy-matchy: When she stopped by the Young Hollywood Studio in LA to continue promoting her movie, Collins went with a Thakoon sleeveless dress with sheer floral lace insets and matching Jimmy Choo sheer booties. My first inclination would have been to put a black pump with the dress, but in going the matchy-matchy route her look is elevated to next-level status.
