3 charged in Jamaica for slaying of Daytona Beach tourist

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) -- Jamaican police have charged three people with the murder of a Daytona Beach man whose body was found in a shallow grave on the Caribbean island last month. Stephen King was last seen May 13th when he checked into a Montego Bay hotel room. Police say he left the hotel with a woman companion that evening, but King did not return with her the following morning. King had been scheduled to leave the popular vacation island May 16th. His body was found May 22nd. His brother, John King, says his family helped break the case. John King says relatives provided Jamaican authorities with the woman's phone number and e-mail messages she wrote to his brother. The three men charged, including one teenager, are scheduled to appear in court tomorrow.
