To get this look, I'd use lots of thickening spray, blow-dry my hair upside down, then tease the crown and hairspray it to give the roots lift. Then I'd pin my ends into a low, loose bun, leaving the wisps free (I'd curl them with a big curling iron at the end and rake my fingers through to soften).
In both cases, the twinkling dangler earrings help make the looks glamorous and holiday-sparkly. Which reminds me: I need to go get me a pair of those.
