LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Fans of Taylor Swift might want to mark their calendars as Netflix has revealed that they will be removing one of its biggest concert movies soon.
On Tuesday, November 21, 2023, Netflix made an unexpected announcement through a newsletter surrounding movies and television shows which will be leaving its platform in December of 2023.
“Reputation Stadium Tour” film will no longer be available on @netflix starting December 30th!

The movie, ‘Taylor Swift: Reputation Stadium Tour’, which was released as a Netflix original on December 31, 2018, offers an exclusive behind-the-scenes view of Swift's 2018 tour of the same name.
Sadly, it made it to the list of movies and television shows that will be leaving the streaming platform in December 2023.
Fans can watch the movie until Saturday, December 30, so make sure to catch it before it's gone for good.
Currently, Swift is on her ‘Eras Tour’, which showcases her first ten albums.

Recently, the filmed version of her tour was released in theaters during the fall season.
Reason behind ‘Reputation Stadium Tour’ leaving Netflix
The removal of ‘Taylor Swift: Reputation Stadium Tour’ from Netflix could be attributed to a number of reasons, including the possibility that the streamer's distribution agreement for the movie may have expired.
It is noteworthy that some other movies and television shows have also been removed from Netflix almost exactly five years after their last upload on the platform, per ComicBook.com.
In this case, the ‘Reputation Stadium Tour’ is being removed almost five years to the day of its initial release.
Additionally, it is worth mentioning that the ‘Reputation Stadium Tour’ is one of two Netflix originals that feature the 12-time Grammy Award-winning hitmaker.
The second is her January 2020 documentary, ‘Miss Americana’, however, it is currently unclear if ‘Miss Americana’ will also be removed from Netflix once its five-year window is completed.
Swift has publicly criticized Netflix in recent years after a "deeply sexist" joke in their original series ‘Ginny & Georgia’ referenced her love life.
However, there is a possibility that Swift could secure a new deal for the ‘Reputation Stadium Tour’ to stream on another platform, as she has previously collaborated with Disney+ on the 2020 documentary, 'Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions.'
It is also worth noting that Swift is in the process of re-recording her first six albums, and many speculate that ‘Reputation’ will be the next re-recording to be released.
If this proves to be true, it could significantly alter the streaming home of the ‘Reputation Stadium Tour.’
