Jameela Jamil from NBC's The Good Place (which, by the way, is one of the best shows on TV that you absolutely should be watching), isn't here for the body-shamers.
In late February, Jamil expertly called out a viral meme on Instagram that attempted to estimate the weights of the Kardashian-Jenner sisters. She saw it as yet another example of society glorifying unrealistic beauty standards. In a response to the meme, Jamil wrote in an Instagram story, "Who gives a F-CK what weight you are? What is this toxic bullshit?"
From there, Jamil shared a mirror selfie with the message, "I weigh: Lovely relationship. Great friends. I laugh every day. I love my job. I make an honest living. I'm financially independent. I speak out for women's rights. I like my bingo wings. I like myself in spite of EVERYTHING I've been taught by the media to hate myself about."
